Dear friends,
I want to introduce you to Monika, our new girl at the orphanage. She is 12 years old and currently in fourth grade. Monika has faced several challenges, including school dropouts and homelessness over the past two years. And, tragically, both of her parents have passed away.
Monika is an interesting girl with a remarkable spirit. I feel that God has guided her to me so I can be a father figure. She shared with me that life hasn’t been easy for her, and she often wonders how she has survived all these years. |
Monika comes from a district about 250 kilometers (155 miles) from Malawi. Her journey here on foot was incredibly challenging, showcasing her courage and determination. The Malawi government agency which coordinates programs for orphans and other vulnerable children called me to inquire whether they could place Monika in our orphanage. When I heard her story, I knew immediately that she wanted to return to school and have a proper home. I was happy to welcome her to Life Coaching Ministries. |
Here, Monika has met all her basic needs and now has a family to support her. I am grateful for all your support, which makes it possible for girls like her to have a safe home and the essentials of life. Monika deserves a better future, and we are dedicated to changing her life story. |
Thank you for your support and prayers! We will continue to work hard to make sure Monika and other girls like her get the support they deserve. We hope that with our collective efforts, we can create a brighter future for these girls. |
