BACK TO SCHOOL
Today, I reflect on how God has placed us where we are for a reason. Sometimes, life may seem dark, but everything ultimately gives glory to Him.
A couple of years ago, a boy (now a man) was helped to go to school, fed, given new clothes, and provided with a good life because of people I believe God sent to me. I could have called them angels! What a blessing in life.
Now, it's my turn to take care of others too! I am living a life that is worth it all, helping many children, some of whom won't be in a photo, and this is all possible because of your support and prayers. Thank you!
The school opened last week, and I am happy to say that all the children have started well. Pray for wisdom and strength
WE GAVE 200 MOSQUITO NETS TO THE COMMUNITY
Malaria is a significant issue in our area, so it’s important to have a mosquito net to prevent getting bitten. We were grateful to receive 200 nets donated by our friends at PSI Malawi, and we decided to distribute them to our community, focusing on elderly women and pregnant women.
Everything went well, although more people showed up than we expected! We're grateful for the support, and the recipients were appreciative as well.
WORKING WITH LOCAL LEADERS
Recently, I took some time off, which did not go entirely according to plan since many good things have happened. We recently held an important meeting with local leaders (chiefs) to discuss our mission, vision, and how we can work together to promote the name of our Lord Jesus.
It was a very successful meeting; we even took pictures with the girls.
We hope that our service to God's people will be of benefit to the community. It was a pleasure to welcome thirteen chiefs, which was a very warm welcome.
REMEMBER JOHN? HE WILL BE GOING TO COLLEGE
"It's only God that authors better stories, and they are so beautiful! Our ministry started working with young boys living homeless on the streets of Lilongwe a couple of years ago.
Hamilton met John and supported him in school until high school. He didn't do well in his first exam, but he killed it this time... 17 points!!!!
Our boy is going to a government university!!!!
It's not who you are, but what you want to be. Homelessness is not the end of the journey, and I believe all these children can make it in life if they are loved and given an opportunity. If there is one way I could solve homelessness for orphans, it is through education and a nice home.
Congratulations, John! You will be great!"
New Campsite… Camp Spirit in the Building
*The good news is here!*
Hey friends and family, we kicked off our after-school program at our new site today. We will be working with #200 children, which is awesome. I can't wait to see how this goes, and I am super happy, just as the kids are looking forward to it too.
Thanks so much for all your support and prayers.
We are off to a great start. I can't wait to see this program’s positive impact on the children
